Intended use
1.
This utensil is intended for home use. No commercial use.
2.
Only use the utensil for heating water and tea or similar liquids.
3.
Do not heat up milk or foaming liquids with the utensil.
4.
Do not heat up soups or sauces or similar thick foods.

Particular care should be taken if the utensil is used near children.
6.
The utensil should be placed beyond the reach of children.
7.
Keep children away from the packaging. Dangers can include suffocation!
HAZARD FROM ELECTRICITY

To avoid risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury, do not use the appliance
in the open air, and do not immerse it in water or other liquids.
9.
Before connecting the utensil to your power supply, you should ensure that the
voltage indicated on the rating plate matches that of your power supply.
10.
Do not clean the water container in the dishwasher.
11.
We recommend that the utensil be connected to a separate electrical circuit.
12.
The utensil should only be connected to a properly earthed mains power supply.
13.
After use switch off the utensil at the adjusting knob. To switch off the samovar
completely, turn the knob anticlockwise past its resistance. Never pull on the
cable to disconnect the utensil from the power socket. Always pull the plug.
14.
Do not allow the mains lead to hang over sharp edges or hot surfaces.
15.
The cable should not come into contact with the appliance when it is hot.
16.
Never attempt to repair the unit yourself, and never use it if the plug or cable is
damaged, if it is not working properly, or if there is another type of damage.
Send or take the utensil to an authorised dealer. Attempts at repair by
unauthorised persons will lead to invalidation of the guarantee entitlement.

Never leave the utensil unattended.

Never place the utensil near to a source of heat or steam, or close to flammable
materials.

The utensil gets very hot during operation. Never touch the water tank during
operation under any circumstances.
21.
Do not remove the steam cover of the water container when the water is
boiling, to avoid scalding.
22.
Place the steam cover and the teapot on the water container before the water
boils.
23.
Remove the teapot carefully. Hot steam will escape!
24.
Only fill the utensil up to the maximum mark. Water may splash out if you
overfill it.
25.
Pull the plug out and allow the utensil to cool before cleaning it.

Do not allow the mains lead to hang over corners (trip-wire effect).
CAUTION – Material damage

Place the utensil on a flat, heat-resistant, stable surface. Make sure it is a safe
distance away from inflammable parts.
28.
The plug must be easily accessible so that you can pull it out quickly if
necessary.
