Stanley®MetalSensor
The Stanley®MetalSensor sensor uses electronic signals
to locate the position of metal objects or live AC wires through
common building materials.
Once the edge of the object has been detected, the
Stanley®MetalSensor gives visual indications via the LCD display
and auditory indications that allow you to easily pinpoint the objects
edge position. A pencil line marked in the sensors centre recess
quickly notes the location of object edges.
The Stanley®MetalSensor sensor is equipped with an Advanced
Metal Selector System (AMS) which allows the user to determine
the depth of selected metal objects through common building
materials up to 75mm (3") deep to an accuracy of ± 7mm (± .28").

The Stanley®MetalSensor sensor can detect 220 VAC up to 50mm
(1.9") deep. With only the AC mode activated, the sensor can be

used to trace the position of live wires through common building
materials.

The Stanley®MetalSensor sensor provides automatic calibration,
auto shut off and heavy duty ABS construction. It also provides the
option of sensing metal and AC separately or together.

The Stanley®MetalSensor sensor is designed to scan dry

structures, indoor only.
