23. Do not open the lid as long
as the water is boiling, to

24. Never switch on the appli-
ance if there is no water in
the kettle.
25. Make sure that all users,
especially
aware of the danger of injury
from emerging steam or hot
splashing water – danger of
burns!
26. Never fill the appliance with
more than 1.5 liters of water,
to prevent the water from
boiling over.
27. Do not move the appliance
as long as it is in opera-
tion, to prevent burns from
splashing water.
28. The electric kettle features
boil dry protection, which
means the appliance shuts
off automatically if the heat-
ing element becomes too
hot. Allow the appliance to

Do not open the lid while the water is boiling.
If the kettle jug is filled beyond its maximum capacity, boiling
water can splash out. The appliance becomes very hot during
operation and maintains the heat during some time after
disconnection.
Never open the housing of the appliance. This can result in electric
shock.

tection is deactivated and
the appliance is ready for
operation again.
29. Do not use the appliance
with accessories of other
manufacturers or brands, to
prevent damage.
30. Unplug the appliance from
the power supply after use
and prior to cleaning. Never
leave the appliance unat-
tended when it is plugged in
to the power supply.
31. Check the appliance, the
plug and the power cord reg-
ularly for wear or damage.
In case of damage to the
power cord or other parts,
please send the appliance or
the base for inspection and
repair to our after sales ser-
vice. Unauthorized repairs
can result in serious risks to
the user and void the war-
ranty.
32. If the supply cord is damaged,
it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its service
agent or a similarly qualified
person in order to avoid a
hazard.
