8. Maintenance and cleaning

8.1 Maintenance

Regularly check the technical safety of the product, e.g. check the housing for damage.
If it seems that it may no longer be possible to operate the device safely, stop using the product and
protect it from unintentional use.
It is likely that safe operation is no longer possible in the event that:
The device shows signs of visible damage.
The device no longer works correctly.
Please note:
You do not need to perform any maintenance on this product. There are no components
to service or anything inside the product to check. Never open it.

8.2 Cleaning

Clean the device with a clean, dry cloth. The cloth can be dampened with lukewarm water if the dirt
on the monitor is hard to remove.
Do not allow any liquids to enter the device.
Do not use any chemical cleaning agent, as they could damage the surface of the housing
(discoloration).

9. Disposal and Lithium-Polymer Battery Warning

9.1 Battery Warning

This equipment contains non- rechargeable batteries.
Do not charge the batteries.
Do not open or mutilate the batteries.
The batteries contained in this equipment may explode if disposed of in a fire.
Do not short-circuit the batteries.

9.2 Recycling and Disposal Information

Do not dispose of electronic devices or any of their components (especially batteries and LCD
displays) in your municipal trash collection.
Please recycle batteries to help save our planet's resources. When you throw away dead batteries, be
sure to cover their terminals and always observe local laws and regulations.

an electronics recycling facility in your area.
