16. The appliance is equipped with boil dry protection. When operated without
water or with excessive scaling, the appliance shuts off automatically. If
this happens, please allow the appliance to cool-down briefly before filling
it with water again or descale the appliance as described in the chapter
"Descaling".
17. Attention: If you take the glass container off of the base during the boiling
process, the appliance does not switch off. As soon as you place the
container back on the base, the previously selected boiling process will be
continued. Only switch-off via the ON/OFF button completely switches off
the appliance.
Boiling water can cause scalding. Therefore, please handle the appliance
with care when it contains hot water.

TIPS FOR COOKING TEA

1.
Fill the tea strainer to 1/3 of the strainer height, maximum. With larger
amounts, the tea leaves can no longer unfold and the flavour is impaired.
2.
If you are preparing different types of tea, one after the other, carefully clean
the cooled glass container between the boiling processes so that the flavour
is not impaired.
