Enabling/disabling the keypad lock
The keypad lock prevents the telephone from operating unintentionally. If the
handset is secured with a PIN, you need that PIN to unlock it. When delivered,
the PIN is set to "0000".

Note: If a call is signalled on the handset, the keypad lock is automatically
disabled. You can accept the call.
When the keypad lock is enabled, you cannot call emergency phone
numbers either.

The number is dialled approximately 3.5 seconds after you enter the last
digit.
Dialling from Telephone Book
