Enabling/disabling the keypad lock

The keypad lock prevents the telephone from operating unintentionally. If the
handset is secured with a PIN, you need that PIN to unlock it. When delivered,
the PIN is set to "0000".

Note: If a call is signalled on the handset, the keypad lock is automatically
disabled. You can accept the call.
When the keypad lock is enabled, you cannot call emergency phone
numbers either.

Dialled calls

Dialling the phone number
1. Use the to enter the number.
2. Press the Accept key
Dialling a phone number with dial preparation
1. Press the Accept key
2. Use the to enter the number.
The number is dialled approximately 3.5 seconds after you enter the last
digit.
Dialling from Telephone Book
1. Press
• for a long time to open the handset's local Telephone book
• to open the assigned address book on the PBX
2. Press to select the entry you want and then press the Accept key
The number is dialled.
If the entry contains several phone numbers:
