Open the hatch located on the back of the child seat and pull out the TOP TETHER strap (B-3).
Line up both ISOFIX attachment hooks with their respective ISOFIX anchor points fitted to the
vehicle's seat and push (B6). The ISOFIX arms are locked in place when you hear a clear "CLICK"
sound and the locking indicators (16) are both green (B6). Always check that both connectors are
correctly locked in place.
Once the child seat is in position, press the ISOFIX adjuster button (28) and push the child seat as
far as it will go towards the vehicle seat's backrest.
Attach the TOP TETHER strap's carabiner hook (6) to the vehicle's anchor point. Adjust the length of
the TOP TETHER strap by pulling vigorously on the tensioner strap.
When the strap reaches the correct tension, the Top Tether's indicator will change from red to green
(B7/B8.)
Roll up any excess strap and secure it using the Velcro provided.
To identify the correct anchor point to use with the TOP TETHER, consult your vehicle's manual.
Anchor points are marked with special labels (B4).
Correct and safe installation of your child seat is complete only when the TOP TETHER is also
installed.
CAUTION! Thread the TOP TETHER between the top of the car seat's backrest and the car seat
headrest. Do not pass the TOP TETHER over the headrest.
CAUTION! Check that the anchor point used to attach the TOP TETHER is designed for that purpose.
Do not confuse it with the rings designed to secure luggage.
To remove the child seat, release the TOP TETHER and ISOFIX connector arms via the release buttons
(15).
RECLINING THE CHILD SEAT
This child seat has 3 reclined positions. To recline the child seat, press the adjuster lever (27) located
under the front part of the seat and rotate the child seat into the desired position.
PLACING YOUR CHILD IN THE CHILD SEAT (Group 1)
First loosen the harness straps (19) by pressing the adjuster button (21) and pull them towards
you (F1).
Adjust the height of the headrest so that your child's head is in the middle and the sides of the
headrest sit just above your child's shoulders (F4).
Adjust the headrest according to your child's height, raising or lowering it (F2/F3) by pressing the
button located behind the headrest (1).
Press the red button to release the buckle (F5). Hook the harness straps on to the sides of the child
seat using the strap hooks provided (10) to make it easier to place your child in the seat (F-6).
Place your child into the child seat in an upright position against the backrest. Ensure that there are
no toys or other objects in the child seat. Pass your child's arms through each of the shoulder straps
(F-7), bring the two end connectors towards the buckle and insert them into the central buckle
