until you hear them click (F8).
Pull the harness adjuster strap (26) so that it clings to the child's body (F-9).
CAUTION! The harness must be tight and cling to the child, but not too tight. You should still be
able to insert your finger between the strap and the child's shoulders.
CAUTION! Check that the harness straps are not twisted, especially in the abdomen area.
ADAPTING THE CHILD SEAT FOR USE IN GROUPS 2 and 3 (15-36 kg)
We recommend using the 5-point harness for as long as possible. You can remove the spacer if you
want to use the child seat in GROUP 1 configuration for longer. When the child grows too large for
use in GROUP 1 (9-18 kg), the child seat must be adapted for use in GROUP 2 (15-25 kg) or GROUP
3 (22-36 kg).
For this configuration, you need to remove the 5-point harness provided with the child seat.
To remove the harness:
- loosen the harness straps (19) by pressing the adjuster button (21) and pull them towards you (G1).
- adjust the seat into the most reclined position
- unlock the seat from the support bar and pull it away. Tilt the seat's backrest forwards (G-2)
- unhook the harness straps located behind the backrest by sliding the ends off the connector clip (G3)
- lift the headrest padding off to reveal the nut which holds the harness bracket (G4)
- unscrew the nut and feed the ends of the straps out from the T-bracket and remove it (G5). Now
thread the straps out of the slots from the front (G6)
- remove the groin strap (32), release the metal bracket located under the seat and rotate it so that
it can be fed through the hole in the plastic frame and then through the hole in the fabric padding
(G7). Use the same method to remove the abdominal straps (G8)
- return the child seat's backrest to the original position, fully insert the support bar and lock it in
place with the attachment mechanism.
NOTE: in this configuration (having removed the bracket from behind the headrest), the headrest
can be adjusted more than before.
USING THE CHILD SEAT WITH 3-POINT SEATBELTS - GROUP 2 and 3 (15-36 kg)
This child car seat can only be used in approved vehicles fitted with three-point seatbelts, either
fixed or fitted with a retractor, approved according to UN/ECE R16 regulation or equivalent
standard.
IMPORTANT! The use of two-point or lap belts is prohibited.
Place the child into the seat so that the child's back is firmly against the seat's backrest. Pass the
vehicle's 3-point seatbelt (lap and diagonal) through the red seatbelt guides (the lap section over
the sides of the child seat and the diagonal section between the headrest and backrest), making
sure not to twist it. Insert the vehicle's seatbelt latch into its corresponding buckle until you hear a
distinct "click" as it locks in position (H-2).
Adjust the height of the headrest by pressing the button (1) located behind it so that the red
