6.2
Voltage stabilizer (commercially
available)
Use the connection cables (red/black/yellow)
included in the accessory set to connect the CRR 220
to the voltage stabilizer as pictured.
!
Do not operate the CRR 220 while the protective
conductor (PE) is not connected.
6.3
Common-rail injectors
!
Only use the correct Bosch adapters (accessories,
section 2) on the connection for common-rail
injectors.
The below picture (Fig. 6) shows the front of the unit.

Operation
Fig. 7:
Operation
1) Connection socket for the Bosch Common Rail Injector
(adapter required)
2) Ready for measurement LED
3) "Measurement" key
4) Pause LED
5) Control key "Off"
6) Supply voltage LED
7) Control key "On"
¶
Switch on and adjust the voltage stabilizer to 24 V
(DC), position the current regulator to "Maximum".
Self-test of the CRR 220:
After the CRR 220 has detected the voltage supply,
each of the three LEDs light once, from left to right, as
a test function.
Subsequently, the software version within the device
is output by coded flashing of the LED.
For example, for the software version V01_2_0:
¶
The LED (Fig. 7, Pos. 6) flashes once, the LED
(Fig. 7, Pos. 4) blinks twice and the LED (Fig. 7,
Pos. 2) does not blink.
¶
After a successful self-test, the LED blinks (Fig. 7,
Pos. 6). This indicates that the supply voltage is
available and the device can now be switched on.
