WARNING:
Never input voltage to the input terminal when the rotary switch
is selected to a current range.
2. Select the rotary switch to the desired current range. If the signal
magnitude is not known, select the biggest range and then reduce
until getting a satisfactory reading. Remember that the reading
will be more accurate is it is taken in the upper half of the scale.
3. Turn off the power of the circuit under test and discharge all capaci-
tors before to open the circuit to connect the multimeter in series.
Do not forget to make the same procedure before disconnecting
the multimeter from the circuit.
4. After connecting the multimeter, turn on the circuit power and
make the reading of current value, in the DCV.A scale
5. Turn off the circuit under test and discharge all capacitors before
disconnecting the test leads.
C. Resistance Measurement
Note:
Before any measurement check the batteries conditions (see MAIN-
TENANCE section).
1. Connect the red test lead to + AVΩ terminal and the black test
lead to -COM terminal.
2. Select the rotary switch to the desired resistance range.
3. Touch the test leads together and adjust the 0Ω ADJ. button
(Zero Adjustment) until the pointer indicate ZERO in the Ω
(BLACK) scale. Make this procedure always that select a new
resistance range.
4. Turn off the power of the circuit under test and discharge all
capacitors before connecting the test leads to the points to be
measured. The value will be shown in Ω scale.
