• Make sure that the power cord does not come into contact with heat, oil or
sharp edges. Damaged power cords can cause fires, short circuiting and
electric shocks.
• If the power cord of this device is damaged, to avoid danger it must be replaced
by the manufacturer or its customer service or by a similarly qualified person.
• Failure to use the device with care may result in a fire. Cutting blades can
reach temperatures of up to 600°C. To prevent accidents, the cutting blade
must not be touched after the trigger has been pressed. Do not use the
device in a potentially explosive atmosphere, remove all flammable materials/
liquids before use, use a heat-resistant work surface and keep your working
area clean.

circuiting and electric shocks.
• Ensure there is adequate ventilation during operation. Take care that no harm-
ful fumes or gases are inhaled. Wear protective clothing where necessary.
• The hot cutting blade must not be brought into contact with heat-sensitive or
flammable materials or with skin, hair etc.
• Do not leave the device unsupervised while it is operating. During longer work
interruptions, the device should be disconnected from the power supply.
• After use, allow the tool to cool down before putting it away.
• When the device is not in use, store it in a safe place and protect it from dust
and moisture.
• National and international occupational health and safety provisions must be
observed.
• This appliance has a polarized plug (US-type: one blade is wider than the other).
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized
outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in
any way.
