3 - BUS CABLE PREPARATION

To connect the unit to the manusa bus, a telephone cable,
two 4P4C connector (4 position 4 conductor) and a telephone
crimping tool are needed.
Below these lines you'll find detailed information on how to
assemble the cable.
1. Cut the cable to the required distance:
2. Strip the cable as
indicated in the figure, leaving enough length (6mm +/-1mm)
in the 4 wires to allow them to fit into the connector.
3. Verify the cable has been cleanly stripped and there is no
contact between the 4 wires that could cause short circuits.
4. Fit the wire endings into the connector housings. Check
polarity as shown in the drawing below. Make sure only one
connector flap is facing the cable strip.
5. Crimp the connector using the specific clippers.

6. Verify the connector housing secures the cable sheath and
the metal tips of the connector come in contact with the live
parts of the wires.

4 - DEVICE ASSEMBLY

1. Plug the telephone cable or clamp a four wire cable to
the terminal block connector depending upon the desired
door drive connection (manusa bus or relay). See chapter 5
for the detailed connection diagram.
2. Pass the cable through the device housing according to

back opening of the device housing.
b. In a surface mounting, the cable can pass through one of
the 4 tabs marked in the device housing, which must be
trimmed using pliers.
3. Screw the device housing onto the desired surface.
Fit the circuit with the cable at the top.
