BKSR-101/101P One-Channel Decoder
Board
Decodes MPEG-2 data and converts it to analog audio
and video signals for output. Allows switching
between composite and component video signal
formats, and is capable of handling 4-channel audio.
The board can operate at a data rate of 10 Mbps or 5
Mbps, and in gen-locked mode. Up to six of these
boards can be installed in the VSR-1000 unit.
BKSR-102 Two-Channel Decoder Board
Contains two lines of circuits to decode MPEG-2 data
and convert it to analog audio and video signals for
output. Allows switching between composite and
component video signal formats, and is capable of
handling 2-channel (stereo) audio.
The data rate is fixed at 5 Mbps, and up to six of these
boards can be installed in the VSR-1000 unit.
BKSR-103 Clip Exchange Board
Installing this board in the VSR-1000 unit provides
additional system capabilities as follows:
• Exchange video clips among multiple VSR-1000
units either directly or via a LAN or other network.
• Input MPEG-2 bitstreams from two VST-1000/1000P
units to the VSR-1000 simultaneously.
• Load and unload video clips via a data streamer.
BKSR-104 Power Unit
Installing a BKSR-104 doubles the power supply of
the VSR-1000. So you are assured of a stable power
should one of the supplies break down.
BKSR-105 Ethernet Interface Board
Conforms to IEEE 802.3 and supports the FTP (File
Transfer Protocol). Installing this board in the VSR-
1000 unit allows clips to be exchanged between the
unit and other VSR-1000 units or computers via an
Ethernet network.
RMM-18DV Rack Mount Kit
This kit provides sliding rails which enable the VSR-
1000 to be mounted in an EIA standard 19-inch rack.
