Using the DC kit

Note
The operating noises made by the roof air conditioner are slightly
louder during mobile air conditioning than during stationary air con-
ditioning. The noises are caused by using the inverter.
8.1
Switching on the system
Observe the following instructions before you switch on the system:
Air the vehicle.
Make sure that the ventilation slots on the air nozzles and the fan of the
components are not covered up.
Make sure that all the housings and cables are not damaged and that all
the insulation is intact.
Compare the existing supply voltage with the technical data.
Do not insert any fingers or objects into component openings.

Note
CA2500, B2200: the remote control for the roof air conditioner can
only be used if the air conditioning is supplied with 230 V mains net-
work or with the inverter.
Stationary mode: 230 V~ mains operation
The system is supplied with 230 V~ from the mains. Leave the inverter
switched off. The socket on the inverter supplies electricity.
Driving mode: power supply from the 12 V battery
➤ Switch on the inverter using the remote control.

Caution!
CA2500, B2200: the inverter may be damaged.
Do not switch on the roof air conditioner in the automatic or heating
modes.
➤ Use the roof air conditioner as described in the operating manual.
