Specifications:
The charger LEM1224250 is equipped with following functions:
- Memory function – In case of power failure, when switched on again, the charger automatically configures
itself to the last selected mode.
- Mode -This switch allows the user to select among: standby, 12V, 24V, 12V AGM / Cold, 24V AGM / Cold
modes, as well as 13.6V Supply and 16V Boost Mode. When the charge cycle is completed the charger
automatically switches to the maintenance charge mode.
- Standby mode
In standby mode, the charger will not output any charge voltage or charge current. For safety reasons, it will
be possible to select a charging mode, only after having connected the charger terminals to the battery to be
charged.
12V battery:
Once the charger is connected to a battery, the microprocessor will run an initial test and will ascertain
automatically if the battery is 12 volt or 24 volt. This function eliminates accidental selections of a wrong
battery voltage by the user.
If the battery is 12V, pressing the selection mode button once, the red LED
selection mode button repeatedly, the different modes will follow one another in the following order:

24V battery:
Once the charger is connected to a battery, the microprocessor will run an initial test and will ascertain

12V charge -This mode is suitable for charging 12V batteries with a capacity range from 50-450Ah in
normal conditions. Connect the output terminals of the charger to the battery with the correct polarity (see
connection instructions). Connect the power cord to the AC power outlet to begin charging. Press the "mode"
button to select 12V, the corresponding red LED
If no problem is detected, the electronic system will automatically start the charging cycle with a current of 25A
±10%. During the charging cycle, the LEDs (25%, 50%, 75% & 100%) will display the charge level. Charging
mode will continue until the battery is charged up to 14.4V±0.29V.
When the battery is fully charged, automatically the charger will switch to maintenance mode and a
combination of a trickle current of <1.0A and a maintenance charge current of 1.5A will be applied if necessary
to keep the battery fully charged. At temperatures below zero, the built-in temperature sensor will activate the
"cold" mode (14.7/25A), this mode is indicated by the red LED
During the charging cycle, the LEDs (25%, 50%, 75% & 100%) will display the charge level. Charging mode
will continue until the battery is fully charged up to 14.7V±0.29V.
When the battery is fully charged, the charger will automatically switch to maintenance mode and a
combination of a trickle current of <1.0A and a maintenance charge current of 1.5A will be applied if necessary
to keep the battery fully charged.
To charge an AGM 12V battery: AGM batteries require a higher voltage charge even under normal
temperature conditions. To charge an AGM battery, starting from standby mode, press the selection mode
button twice: if no problem is detected, the red LEDs
mode and the charger will start the charging cycle with a current of 25A ±10% at 14.7V. During the charging
cycle, the percentage charge LEDs (25%, 50%, 75% & 100%) will display the charge level. Charging will
continue until the battery is fully charged up to 14.7V±0.29V.
