Operation
• Place the two boards to be joined on top of each other (flush) and fix them with clamps.
• Mark the center of the grooves on the boards. The distance between two grooves should be
10-15 cm.
• After setting the thickness of the material and the cutting-depth, place the machine on the
board, so that the center-marking on the base-plate (12) is facing the marking on the board.
• Switch on the machine, as described above.
• Push the motor-part forward and let the router-blade slowly plunge into the material, as far
as it goes. The machine must be lead with both of your hands.
• Now release the pressure and the motor-part will be pulled back to the original position.
• Switch off the machine.
Changing the router-blade
• Always disconnect the machine from the power-supply, before changing the router-
blade.
• Loosen the screws (17) below the motor-housing and shift the ground-plate (8) to open.
• Press the knob for the spindle-lock (15), loosen the flange with the attached spanner and
remove the router-blade.
• When mounting the new router-blade, take care, that the arrows on the blade and on the
housing show in the same direction.
• To insert and fasten the new router-blade, proceed in reverse order.
• Pay well attention, that the flange is fastened sufficiently and that the ground-plate is fixed
securely.
Dust-ejector
• The dust-ejector (14) is prepared to fit the hose of a vacuum-cleaner.
• It is recommended to connect a vacuum-cleaner for all jobs, at least to use the attached
dust-bag (4).
Maintenance and cleaning
• Always disconnect the machine from the power-supply, before carrying out any work
on the machine.
• The ventilation slots of the machine have to be kept clean at all times.
• Clean the machine from dust by using a dry cloth or brush.
• Do not use cleaning-liquids, which might damage the housing.
• Never let liquids enter the interior of the machine.
