Intended use
The biscuit jointer is used for mortised joints in solid wood, chipboard, plywood and fibre-board.
Additional safety-hints for Biscuit jointer
• Always wear safety-goggles during your work.
• Always disconnect the plug from the outlet, before starting any maintenance or cleaning
work.
• Pay attention the machine is switched off, before connecting to the outlet.
• Always lead the power-cord to the back of the machine and keep it away from the working-
area of the cutter.
• Use only professionally grinded router tools.
• Do not remove any sawdust or splinters while the machine is running.
• Fasten your workpiece by using clamps.
• Always hold and lead the machine with both of your hands on the provided handles.
• Do not stop the router by hand, after switching off the machine.
• Never clamp down the base-plate. Pay attention to easy moving of the base-plate.
• Always use the attached dust-collector (4) or connect a vacuum-cleaner to the machine.
