Function description
The rotor is driven by a synchronous gear motor. Rollers are
attached to the ends of the rotor and these press the metering
hose against the inner arch of the liquid end.
The metering function of the peristaltic pump is caused by the
rollers rotating and forcing the liquid out of the metering hose into
the discharge hose. The pump is primed by the action of the
metering hose regaining its original shape.
