BE SURE THAT THE PUMP IS OFF BEFORE CHANGING ANY POSITION OF THE
The side selector valve has 6 different functions of the filter: washing the sand,
recirculation, rinsing, filtration, draining and close. To change the position of the valve of
filtration, to proceed as follows:
• Always disconnect the equipment.
• Turn firmly the top control of the valve dislocating the front nerve of its housing, until
it allows us to turn on around itself.
• Turn softly the control up to aligning the front nerve with the housing of the wished
operation.
• Give up the control without abruptness, and be sure that the front nerve remains
fitted well into its housing.
The filter is based on the filtering capacity of sand silex inside of it. The water of the
swimming pool is pushed by the pump forced to pass across the sand of sílex, impurities
of the water remain in the sand that works as filtering element. The environment, trees,
pollen, insects and frequency of baths are, between others, the factors that determine the
dirt of the water of the swimming pool. Silex sand or zeolites must be cleaned with major
or minor frequency.
To keep the water in good condition it is necessary to use, in addition, the chemical
products advised by the manufacturer (chlorine, antialgae, etc ...).
Filtration
Turn off the pump and place nerve of the selector valve in FILTRATION position.
Turn on the pump.
While pump is runnin, it is suitable to observe from time to time the gauge, which indicates
the saturation degree of the filter.
