O+ CAR SEAT
The universal car safety seat, group 0+, has been subjected to all tests for safety and approved according to the
European ECE R44/04 regulation in force, for children weighing 0-13 kg (0-12/14 months).
IMPORTANT: the car seat group 0+ Joyelle, must be installed in the opposite direction to the direction of movement,
in seats without airbags. Do not install on seats facing in the opposite direction or across towards the vehicles
common sense of movement.
WARNING
• Read the instructions carefully before use and keep them for future use. Failure to scrupulously follow the
instructions for installing the car seat may cause risks to your child.
• The assembly and installation should be performed by adults.
• Do not put fingers in the mechanism.
• Install this car-seat group 0+ in the car in the opposite direction of movement.
• Do not install this car seat on passenger seats fitted with airbags since this could cause serious injury and
even death.
• Disable the airbags surrounding the location of the car-seat since the airbags could be a cause of damage.
• In the case of rotating seats it is recommended to install this car-seat in the opposite direction of the vehicle's
movement.
• In the car pay particular attention to luggage or other objects that may injure the child in the car seat during
an accident.
• Do not use installation methods other than those indicated since this may unfasten the seat.
• This car-seat is classified as "Universal" as per severe approval criteria compared to other previous models that
do not have the approval label.
• In order to install the car seat, pass the vehicle's 3-pointed seatbelt in the car-seat's relevant housing (FIGURE
WARNING LABEL). Do not use installation methods other than those indicated since this may unfasten the seat.
• Make sure that the three-point belt of the vehicle to secure the car seat is always tight and not twisted, it is
recommended to replace in case of excessive stress due to an accident.
• Never leave your child in the car-seat unattended: watch him/her even while he/she sleeps.
• If the car is moving, do not ever take the child out of the car-seat.
• Make sure that the car-seat remains blocked by a mobile part of the seat or by a door.
• To avoid the risk of falling, always use the belt of the car-seat, even for transportation outside of the vehicle.
Adjust the height and tension of the straps making sure that they are close to the child's body without
tightening him/her too much; make sure the safety belt is not twisted and that the child will not disengage
him/herself.
• This car-seat is not designed for a prolonged period of sleep. The car-seat does not replace the child's cot, if
your child needs to sleep it is important that you lay him/her down.
• Do not leave the car-seat in the car under direct sunlight, some parts could be very hot and damage the
delicate skin of the child, check before you place the child.
• Do not use the car-seat without the cover fabric, the coating can not be replaced by one not approved by the
manufacturer as it is an integral part of the car-seat and for its safety.
• For any doubts, contact the manufacturer or dealer of this car-seat.
• Do not remove the stickered and sewn labels; this could make the product not in accordance with current
rules and regulations.
• Do not modify the product.
• For repairs, parts replacement and product information, contact the after sales service. The various information
is on the last page of this manual.
• Do not use the car-seat after five years from the date of manufacture indicated on the frame; due to the
natural wear and tear of the materials the product may not be in accordance with current rules and regulations.
• The use of the car-seat for premature infants less than 37 weeks of gestation, could lead to infant breathing
problems while sitting in the car-seat. You should consult your doctor before you leave the hospital.
• Do not use attachments that are not approved by the manufacturer or by the competent authorities.
• To avoid the risk of falling, never place the car-seat on high surfaces (tables, shelves), on soft surfaces (bed,
sofa), or on inclined surfaces.
• At home, do not use the car-seat if the child can sit by him/herself.
