Keep the noise emissions and vibrations to a
minimum.

Residual risks

accordance with instructions, certain resi-

mask is used.

3. Health damage caused by hand-arm vib-
rations if the equipment is used over a pro-
longed period or is not properly guided and

5. Before starting the equipment
Before you connect the equipment to the mains
supply make sure that the data on the rating plate
are identical to the mains data.
Warning!
Always pull the power plug before making
adjustments to the equipment.
5.1 Assembling the drywall sander (Fig. 2)
Take the drywall sander out of the packaging,
unfold it and secure with the locking hook (10).
Make sure that the locking hook (10) engages
correctly.
5.2 Fitting the telescopic extension (Fig. 3)
Insert the telescopic extension (4) into the lock for
the telescopic extension (3) and lock it by twisting
as shown in Fig. 3.
Note:
Adjust the drywall power sander with the telesco-
pic extension (4) so that you can work with it most
comfortably. Observe the „Max" mark on the tele-
scopic extension. Do not go beyond this mark.

5.3 Connection for dust extractor (Fig. 4)
Insert the dust extractor hose (6) into the dust ex-
tractor mount (5) and lock it by twisting as shown
in Fig. 4. Dust is extracted directly through the
abrasive paper and the sanding disk (7).
Note:
Connect your tool to an extraction unit or vacuum
cleaner. This will provide excellent extraction of
chips and dust.
Caution!
For health safety reasons it is imperative that you
use a dust extractor.
5.4 Fastening the grinding/sanding paper
(Fig. 5)
The Velcro fastener enables easy changing of
the abrasive paper. Make sure that the vacuum
extraction holes on the abrasive paper and the
sanding disk are aligned.
6. Operation
6.1 On/Off switch (Fig. 6/7)
Switching on:
Press the On/Off switch (1).
Continuous operation:
Lock the On/Off switch (1) in place by pressing
the locking button (11).
Switching off :
Press the On/Off switch (1) briefl y and let go.
6.2 Speed controller (Fig. 7/Item 2)
You can select the speed by turning the speed
controller (2).
Plus direction:
Higher speed
Minus direction:
Lower speed
6.3 Working with the drywall power sander
•
Place the whole surface area of the sanding
disk on the material.
•
Switch on the machine and move it with
gentle pressure over the „workpiece", making
circular or transverse and linear movements.
•
Use a coarse grit for coarse sanding and a
finer grit for finish sanding. You can find the
best grit size for the job by carrying out san-
ding tests.
