before using the product. Save it for consultation,
at least until the consumption of the product and
until there is no more interaction of the product
with its last patient. The selection, planning and
implementation of the procedures must obligatorily
be performed by a duly qualified dental surgeon,
who also masters implantology techniques and/or
prosthesis on implant.
1. Product Description
The Arcsys Abutment Placement tool (34.48.04)
is a device manufactured in 303 Stainless Steel
(according to ASTM F899) and aluminum (according
to ASTM B221) that has in its active end one
tip that is based on the Arcsys Implant System
prosthetic components. At the other end it has a
shaft activated by a springs system. The Arcsys
Abutment Placement tool (34.48.04) is a tool used
to activate the Arcsys Implant System abutments
(Arcsys Foldable abutment for Cement-Retained
restoration, Arcsys non-foldable abutment for
Cement-Retained restoration, Arcsys Foldable
abutment for Screw-Retained restoration, Arcsys
Non-foldable
abutment
for
restorationand, Arcsys Overdenture Abutments) in
Arcsys Frictional Implant.

2. Presentations
The Arcsys Abutment Placement tool is a reusable
device, sold uniformly delivered to the user un-
sterile and should be sterilized prior to first use.
The Arcsys Abutment Placement tool features a
unique model, which is packed in primary packaging.
• Primary package: consisting of coated paper,
manufactured from cellulose fibbers.

4. Indications
The Arcsys Abutment Placement tool is an
instrument designed to perform the activation
of the Arcsys Implant System abutments in the
Arcsys Frictional Implant. After activation, the
Screw-Retained
abutment remains fixed to the implant, thus being
able to perform the support function of dentures.
The FGM Dental implants are medical devices used
to establish exclusively in the dental bone (mandible
or maxilla) whose purpose is to provide support and
stability for fixed prosthetic restorations (single,
multiple or hybrid) and / or removable (over denture)
according to the evaluation of the dental surgeon
and the needs of each individual. The selection,

5. Precautions and Contraindications
The Surgical Instruments FGM are used to assist
in the installation of dental implants in dentistry,
adverse effects may occur if the choice of
instrument is improper and may cause damage to
the component to be installed.
In order to ensure correct operation and the good
state of the Arcsys Abutment Placement tool,
it is of primary importance to closely read the
manufacturer's instructions.
Attention:
1.
Check all instruments visually. Damaged
instruments should not be used and must be
disinfected, cleaned and left separately;
2. Never allow waste (blood, secretions, tissue
remains) to dry on the instruments. Always
submerge the instruments in disinfectant after
surgery;
3. Use only the solvent recommended for stainless
steel, and strictly follow the instructions for
use;
4. Rinse the disinfectant and the solvent carefully
with water;
5. Never store instruments while they are still
damp or wet;
6. The scale should only be thoroughly cleaned
with nylon brushes. Clean with extra care the
cavities;
7.
The instruments with severe contamination
must be cleaned in an ultrasound device;
