8. Never disinfect, clean (even with ultrasound) or
sterilize together instruments made of different
materials;
9. When you perform a mechanical cleaning, make
sure that the instruments do not touch during
cleaning to prevent damage to them;
10. Instruments consisting of several parts must be
disassembled before being cleaned. Disinfect,
clean, sterilize and store each piece separately.
11. After the mechanical or manual cleaning, all
surgical instruments must be sterilized. We do not
recommend the use of hot air sterilizers or glass
microspheres, as these reach temperatures high
enough to damage instruments;
12. Do not sterilize corroded instruments;
13. Check for traces of corrosion after sterilization of
instruments;
14. New instruments must be cleaned and sterilized
prior to first use.
The Arcsys Abutment Placement tool has no
contraindications if its purposes are followed correctly
and by trained professionals.
6. Side Effects
The Arcsys Abutment Placement tool is a surgical
instrument used in surgical procedures. Adverse effects
only occur if the choice or use of the instrument is
inadequate and may cause damage to the surgical
sequence of the implant to be installed.
7. Instructions for Use
1. With the Arcsys prosthetic component already placed in
the Arcsys Frictional Implant (Figure 02), position the tip
of the Arcsys Abutment Placement tool on it (Figure 03);
2. The tip of the active tip of the Arcsys Abutment Placement tool should be aligned to the axis of
the implant, regardless of the inclination of the prosthetic portion of the prosthetic component;
3. Hold the Arcsys Abutment Placement tool by its central body (figure 03). Never hold the
Arcsys Abutment Placement tool by the active because it may not ensure the activation of the
prosthetic component effectively;
4. Maintain the Arcsys Abutment Placement tool lightly resting on the Arcsys Prosthetic
component, ensuring the contact between them during the impact;
5. Pull the shaft to the end with a soft stroke and release it (Figure 04);
6. It is recommended to carry out at least 03 impacts to actual installation component Prosthetic
Arcsys.
IMPORTANT: HOLD THE ARCSYS ABUTMENT PLACEMENT TOOL BY ITS CENTRAL BODY
DURING ACTIVATION.
