Risk of damage if using powder. Any kind of powder on the inner side
of the socket or on the skin can restrict or disable the functionality of
the valve during use. Avoid using powder in areas close to the valve.
1.4 Function
1.4.1 PushValve
The PushValve is a threadless one-way valve. It is opened and closed by
pressing together two levers. It is used to evacuate air from the prosthetic
socket.
1.4.2 MagValve
The MagValve is a threadless one-way valve with low structural height.
It is closed with magnetic force. It is used to evacuate air from the pros-
thetic socket.
