Jobsite table saw with laser
motor must be removed.
1. snip the cable tie a1 and remove (see fig a1)
2. Pull out the foam roll a2 from the side of the
machine (see fig a2).
2. settiNG uP the staND
a) The legs are locked using twist knobs which lock/
unlock in either direction and have a central unlocked
position.
l
start with the saw standing on its wheels (b1),
unlock the upper legs. swing up the legs and lock
(b2) then unlock the lower legs.
ll Lift the table from the end (b3), allowing the lower
leg to swing into place.swing the leg fully into place
and lock (b4).
b) folding instructions
hold and support the table edge, unlock the legs at the
wheel end (b5).
Lower the wheels to the ground, allowing the legs to
swing under (b6).
stand the table on end, fold up and lock the lower legs,
unlock the upper legs (b7).
swing down the legs and lock (b8).
3. to traNsPort the table saw (see C1, C2)
The upper legs may be locked in the vertical position
(C1) for use as a trolley handle (C2)
4. to eliMiNate roCKiNG
if the saw rocks on uneven floors, this can be eliminated
by using the adjstable screw foot.(11)
5. aCCessorY storaGe.
The table saw has storage areas specifically designed
for the saw's accessories.
1) blade guard (21) (see e1)
The blade guard assembly is stored inverted as shown
in fig.E1.
Turn the catch (b) to lock the guard support.
Caution: be careful when touching the anti-kickback
pawls, they are sharp!
2) Miter gauge (18) (see e2)
The miter gauge is stored below the table as shown in
fig E2.in order to store properly, the gauge must be set
at a 30 degree angle.
The miter gauge guide strip clicks into place with ball
detents.
3) wrenches & saw blade (see e2)
The two wrenches and saw blade provided can be
stored behind the blade guard storage.
Note: The rear table extension needs to be extended
when positioning the blade.
4) rip fence (3) (see e3, e4)
Note: for shipping only, the fence is stored as shown
in E3.
The permanent storage place of the fence is on the right
side of the base,E4.
5) Push stick(5), riving knife(7)& support rod (4)
The push stick, the riving knife and support rod are
stored in the extension table.
Note: The support rod is used only rarely, to support
very thin flexible material when wide ripping. it is not
required for most materials, and cannot be used for
narrow ripping over the table.
Take support rod out and position on left of the rip fence
as show in fig.E5.
The installation of the support rod on the fence is shown
in E5.
insert the cranked end of the rod through the hole in the
front fence mount E5-1.Lower the 90˚ bent end through
the hole in the rear fence mount E5-2.
Note: When narrow ripping over the table, the support
rod must be removed and stored.
6. to reMoVe/rePlaCe the table iNsert (see F)
simply lift the table insert by pulling up at the finger hole
at the front of the plate.
To reinstall the table insert, put the rear of table insert
into slot in the table, then press the front of table insert
firmly. Make sure it clicks into in position.
7. saw blaDe iNstallatioN
warNiNG: To work properly, the saw blade teeth
must point down toward the front of the saw.
failure to do so WiLL damage the saw blade, causing
teeth to be broken off and possibly cause injury.
iMPortaNt: arbor shaft has left hand threads.
- Remove the table insert.
- Raise the saw blade to its full height.
1) to install a standard blade: (see G)
unplug the saw.
Place the new blade on the arbor shaft (the teeth
must point down toward the front of the saw to work
properly).
Place the blade washer and the blade nut over the blade
arbor. be sure the dome side of the blade washer faces
out from the blade and that all items are snug against
the arbor housing. Tighten securely.
2) to replace the blade (see G)
