programs with different vacuum periods available which
can be selected to suit the specific polymerization
requirements of the material in use. In the final step of the
procedure, in which the material is exposed to a vacuum,
the oxygen inhibition layer commonly observed with
composite materials is eliminated.

Operating the unit with a cold pump may lead to over-
loading of the pump and damage the pump due to poor
lubrication!
For details on the installation of the Visio Beta Vacuum
pump, manufactured for 3M ESPE, please refer to separate
operating instructions!
Push the suction hose of the Visio Beta Vacuum pump
(labeled "Gerät-unit") onto the hose coupling piece of the
Visio Beta vario unit.
Plug the power cord of the vacuum pump into the upper
socket on the back of the Visio Beta vario unit. Connect one
plug of the power cord to the lower socket on the back of
the Visio Beta vario unit, and the other plug of the cord to a
properly grounded power outlet.

5. Operation

Turn on the power switch. For a total of 3 sec the display
shows the number of times the lamps have been activated
(two digits show the lamps acts in units of thousands/
hundreds) and both lamp error indication lights are on.
