Replacement of the upper pair of lamps
(inside the cover of the polymerization chamber)
Open the polymerization chamber by pressing the "Lid"
button.
Turn the unit off and pull the power plug from its socket!
upward direction. If the reflector located behind the lamps
is contaminated, clean it with a cloth dampened in alcohol.
Caution: Do not scratch the reflector with any hard objects!
Place new fluorescent lamps LB1 in the respective holders.
Replace the cover plate and fix in place by tightening the
six screws.
Replacement of the lower pair of lamps
Empty the polymerization
chamber and close the lid.
Turn the unit off
and pull the
power plug
from its socket!
Place the unit
on its right side.
Unscrew the screw located in the bottom door and remove
the door.
Caution: Do not scratch the reflector with any hard objects!
Place new fluorescent lamps LB 1 in the respective holders.
Attach bottom door by its hinges, close the door and
tighten the screw.
8. Care of the unit
Clean the unit with a commercial dish-washing detergent.
(Organic) Solvents may damage the housing of the unit.

cloth dampened in alcohol.
Any contamination inside the polymerization chamber
should be removed with alcohol. Persistent contaminating
material should be soaked by placing an alcohol-saturated
piece of cloth inside the chamber and closing the cover.
(Do not press the Start-Stopp button.) After extended
soaking (preferably over night) use a plastic spatula to
remove residues of the working materials from the
polymerization chamber and glass plate. Do not use a
metal instrument for this purpose!
Fluorescent lamps must be cleaned/dusted at least at
semi-annual intervals to ensure proper performance of the
lamps. For details on how to clean reflectors and fluorescent
lamps, please refer to the section on "Replacement of
upper/lower pair of lamps".

9. Storage / transport

Do not store Visio Beta vario below -10°C/24°F or above
+60°C/140°F.

3M ESPE warrants this product will be free from defects in
material and manufacture. 3M ESPE MAKES NO OTHER
WARRANTIES INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF
MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE. User is responsible for determining the suitability
of the product for user's application. If this product is
defective within the warranty period, your exclusive remedy
and 3M ESPE's sole obligation shall be repair or replace-
ment of the 3M ESPE product.
Limitation of Liability
Except where prohibited by law, 3M ESPE will not be liable
for any loss or damage arising from this product, whether
direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential,
regardless of the theory asserted, including warranty,
contract, negligence or strict liability.
