Instruction Manual
To lengthen the pump electrical cable, use resin connection splices only. Pay especial attention to having the colours of
pump cables coincide with those of the prolongation. Connecting the ground cable (yellow-green) is essential.
Connect the power outlet of the ACUAPLUS Kit directly to a home power outlet, appropriately protected, according to
the regulations in force in each country. Perform all electrical connection according to Regulation IEC-60364 (electrical
installation in buildings) or the regulations in force in the destination country.
The pump start-up capacitor comes placed inside the ACUAPLUS Kit.
Single-phase motors are equipped with built-in thermal protection.

Verifications prior to initial start-up
WARNING: Make sure the mains frequency and voltage correspond to what is indicated on the characteristics
plate.
To conserve warranty conditions, supply voltage must be within the limits of 230V ±10%.
Before starting the pump, make sure it is properly installed.
Check that no leaks exist in gaskets or connections.
Ensure that the pump is partially submerged. NEVER RUN THE PUMP DRY.

Start-up
6.1.
Start-up
If there is a line valve, open it completely.
Connect the electrical supply switch. Water will never flow at the end of the line immediately; if the path is
considerable, wait a few minutes. The voltage indicator will light up (LINE).
The unit then starts automatically. While the pump is working, the function indicator will be lit (RUN).
During this operation, keep a water outlet tap open to purge any air existing in the installation. Once the installation
is purged, close the tap; the group will stop after 10 seconds. Only the voltage indicator (LINE) will remain lit.
If the pump is not properly primed or no water supply is available at start-up, the FAULT LED indicator will light up
after 10 seconds. To complete pump priming, press the (+) and (-) buttons simultaneously; this will reinitiate the
circuit and the 10-second timing.
The pump continues working with a water supply of over 2 l/minute; below this level, the control makes the RUN
LED blink intermittently to indicate that water flow is below minimum and the pump stops after about 10 seconds.
Just before the circuit stops the pump, the electrical control increases the motor revolutions slightly to raise the
default pressure a bit and stay paused longer.
If the motor does not start or does not pump water, try to discover the cause of the irregularity in the list of most
frequent problems and possible solutions provided later in this manual.
