Turning off and storing the
appliance
1 Turn the temperature-control dial
clockwise to turn off the appliance. The
indicator light will go out.
2 Remove the plug from the plug socket.
3 Allow the appliance to cool down. This
will take approximately one hour.
4 Clean the appliance and all the
accessories (see 'Maintenance and
cleaning').
5 Store the appliance in a dry, frost-free
location.

• Never clean the appliance whilst it is
turned on or is still hot. Turn off the
appliance and wait until it has cooled
down before cleaning it.
• Never use abrasive or aggressive
cleaning products.
• Make sure the plug has been removed
from the plug socket before cleaning
the appliance.
• Never immerse the appliance in water.
• Make sure no moisture comes into
contact with the appliance's electrical
parts.

with a damp cloth.
2 Clean the pans and forks with soapy
water or place them in a dishwasher.
3 Make sure the appliance and the
accessories are dry before storing
them.
