DT.4358 Flywheel Holding Tool (Crank Pulley removal)
To remove the timing belt, the crankshaft pulley must be removed.
DT.4358 Holding Tool is used to 'lock' the flywheel whist releasing the pulley bolt.
On HDi engines, once the pulley bolt is removed the pulley must be extracted using DT.4566 Remover.
DT. 4360C6, DT.4360C8 and DT.4565P9 Flywheel TDC Locking Pins.
Turn the crankshaft to its timed position and 'lock' by inserting the TDC Pin
into the flywheel datum hole.
The special shape of DT.4360C6 and C8 allows use around obstructions.
DT.4565P9 Locking Pin is used for double
flywheel applications and is held in place by attaching its retaining
spring to a suitable bolt head.
DT.4360C2, DT.4360P4 and DT.4565M8 Locking Pins / Bolt
The camshaft and injection pump must be held in their timed position using pins or bolts.
Refer to Diesel Application Charts for which Pins to use on which engines
Tensioner Tools
DT.4567 and DT.4362 Tensioner Adjusters
DT.4567 (DW8) and DT.4362 (HDi) Tensioner Adjuster locates into the square drive on the belt tensioner.
IMPORTANT: Belt Tension must be as manufacturer's specification.
DT.4569 Timing Belt Retaining Clip
Fit the new belt to the crankshaft gear and retain in place with DT.4569 Clip.
Fit belt in an anti-clockwise direction to tensioner roller, injection pump sprocket,
camshaft sprocket, water pump and tensioner.
