3.0 Replacing the XENON Flash Tube Units

Observe the safety notes in the instructions and on the appliances!
Safety notes:
We recommend having the flash tubes replaced by specialist staff in a specialist garage only!
The following safety notes must be observed with regard to trouble-shooting and replacement of the flash
tube unit.
– Always switch off the headlamps before you replace a flash tube. Prior to opening, disconnect the power
supply unit (wait for five minutes at least to enable capacitor discharge).
– First let the flash tube cool down.
– Never touch the glass bulb of the flash tube, only touch the flash tube at the socket or the PCB.
– Cautiously wipe off any fingerprints on the glass bulb with a clean cloth and alcohol.
– Dispose of the flash tube as hazardous waste.
