3. Dimensions and installation
Version 2:
The thermometer is mounted on a certified enclosure, with integral electronics,
with ignition protection type 'flameproof enclosure'.

If the thermometer is marked with II 2G Ex d IIC T1-T6 Gb, it is intended for
zone 1 operation with a thermowell.
If the thermometer is marked with II 1/2G Ex d IIC T1-T6 Ga/Gb, it is intended for
operation with a thermowell at the transition to zone 0.
Version 3:
The thermometer is mounted to certified equipment (transmitter) with ignition
protection type 'flameproof enclosure'.
If the thermometer is marked with II 2G Ex d IIC Gb, it is intended for zone 1
operation, inserted in a thermowell. If it is to be mounted, inserted in a
thermowell, at the transition to zone 0, the approvals and requirements for the
respective transmitter must be observed.
