WARNING!
In the final application, it must be ensured that the instrument,
even with medium temperatures > 70 °C, is not heated to over
70 °C.
When mounting the pressure gauge, care should be taken
that the permissible operating temperature of the measuring
instrument is maintained, considering the effects of convection
and thermal radiation!
For this the pressure gauge and the shut-off valve must be
protected by sufficiently long measuring lines or syphons.
The influence of temperature on the indication and measuring
accuracy must be observed.
The effective maximum surface temperature is not only
dependant upon these instruments, but mainly on the respective
medium temperature! With gaseous substances, the temperature
may increase as a result of compression warming.
In these cases it may be necessary to throttle the rate of change
of pressure or reduce the permissible medium temperature.
