BEFORE FIRST USE
WARNING: Blades are sharp, handle with care. Do not plug the appliance into an electrical
outlet before it's ready to be used.
NOTE: Remove all parts & accessories and dispose of packaging.
1.
Unscrew the lid from the base and carefully remove the silicone gasket. (P.2 Fig.2.1)
2. Wash all removable parts & accessories in hot soapy water and dry thoroughly or place in
the dishwasher.
NOTE: Do not immerse the motorized base or the power cord in water or any other liquids.
3. Wipe the motorized base with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
4. Insert the gasket back into the groove of the lid. Ensure the gasket is securely in place by
pressing all around. (P.2 Fig.7)
TIPS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
NOTE: For best results read the following tips:
•
Do not fill the bowl too much.
•
Do not attempt to chop firm food such as grind meat or mix dough.
•
Do not process hot food or liquids.
•
Cut fruits and vegetables into small pieces.
•
Place ingredients in the following order: Liquids, frozen ingredients, fresh ingredients.
•
If the blade stops spinning, unplug the appliance immediately. Mix the food in the bowl. If
the blade is still obstructed add some liquid or reduce the solid food.
SPEED CONTROL
•
Use the PULSE control to crush ice or frozen fruits into small pieces. Hold the speed
control to PULSE for short bursts. Then turn the variable speed control to the right to
obtain the desired consistency.
•
Use the PULSE control to grind coffee beans, nuts and whole spices.
•
Use a low speed to obtain a thick, chunky texture.
•
Use a high speed for a creamy, smooth texture.
BLADES
The blade has 2 parts, a lower and an upper part.
•
Use only the lower part (2 blades) for coarse chopping.
•
Use the lower part and upper part (4 blades) for fine chopping and pureeing.
NOTE: Use 4 blades to have a faster result.
BLADE ASSEMBLY
WARNING: The blades are sharp, please handle with care.
The upper blades can be detached from the lower blades, for all kinds of chopping needs.

Align the two parts and turn according to the locking symbol.
2. Lock the upper part in place by pulling the part up and turning in the other direction.
