Assembly of the Table
The table board can be fixed in three heights (570, 770 and 1060 mm).
Insert the table board in the required holders [28]. Secure the table board by the locking lever [29] on both
sides. The table locking levers are fixed in every assembly position.

Operation
7.1
Preparations
Put the machine on a level surface and fix the machine to the ground.
Oil the wedge and splitting column, which would make your operating more smoothly and lengthen the life
of the sliding sleeve.
Check that all nuts, bolts and hydraulic fittings are tight to be sure the equipment is in safe working
condition.
Make sure your outlet, mains voltage and frequency match the data stated on the model plate (or the
technical specifications in this manual).
The power supply for this splitter must be protected against under-voltage and over-voltage, and feature a
circuit breaker with a residual current device (RCD) with a maximal residual current rated at 0.03 A.
Check if the switch, power cable and plug are not damaged to exclude the risk of electric shock and short-
circuit.
Check all safe devices to be sure they are in the proper position.
Wear non-slip safety shoes, safety goggles, safety gloves and suitable work clothing. Never wear jewellery,
a necktie or other loose clothing.
Make sure to unplug the device from the mains prior to perform maintenance or cleaning operations. After
adjusting, remove all accessories and tools on and around the device before switching it on.
Ensure the motor is properly earthed or apply a protection device.
Use only rubber-jacketed cables of sufficient lead cross section as extension cables.
Keep away from inflammable liquids or gases before starting the machine.
Before starting, hydraulic pipes and hoses shall be inspected
and the stopping devices should be tested.
Make sure to keep your work area clean to avoid accidents.
WARNING! Before operating the log splitter, the bleed screw
[32] should be loosened by some rotations until air can go in
and out of the oil tank smoothly. Air flow through the bleed
screw hole should be detectable while the log splitter is
operating. Failed to loosen the bleed screw will keep the
sealed air in the hydraulic system being compressed after
being decompressed. Such continuous air compression and
decompression will blow out the seals of the hydraulic
system and can cause permanent damage to the log splitter.
Before moving the log splitter, make sure the bleed screw is
tightened to avoid oil leaking from this point.
