Lighting
1 - Turn on the appliance's circuit breaker to con-
nect it to the electrical mains.
2 - Fill the well (see page 8).
3 - Turn the knob (A) to setting 1 to turn on the
heating elements at the maximum power and
bring liquids to the boil more quickly.
The mains light (C) comes on.
4 - Turn the knob (A) to one of the other settings,
to reduce the heating element power to a lower
level.
Turning off
1 - Turn off the water supply (see page 8)
2 - Turn the knob (A) to setting 3 to switch off the
heating elements.
3 - Turn off the appliance's circuit breaker to dis-
connect it from the electrical mains.
Filling
The well can be filled in a number of different ways.

– Press the knob (B) and turn it to setting 1 to fill the

well to the maximum level shown by the mark.
When the water reaches the maximum level, the
heating elements can be turned on and the differ-

Important
After filling, the knob (B) must be turned to
