Installation instructions and installation of surface heating
1.
Deposit the packed Alkari panel on the floor so that the label is on the upper side of the carton. Now
open the cover plate carefully. To reduce the danger of damages please open the heater package in
the room where you intend to install the heater.
Note that an exact positioning of the screws is the basic for the simple and trouble‐free assembly.
2.
Mark the 4 drill positions by using the dimensions of the drawing on top of this page. Please note the
orientation of the heater.
Using a water‐level is recommended.
Tip: Before drilling the holes please check if tubes or wires are present in this area. Use a suitable metal
detector.
3.
Drill the 4 holes by using a Ø8mm drill (depth=length of the dowel). The depth of the holes should not
differ much from the dowel length. To ensure this demand please mark the drill or use a depth stop.
Tip: To avoid the formation of dust it is recommended to use a vacuum cleaner simultaneously.
4.
Push the dowels in the holes and screw the screws in.
5.
Fix the 4 holders with hexagon screws on the heater backside so that they are still turn able. The
mouths of the holders should be orientated in ground direction. Hang the heater to the 4 wall screws.
Turn 1 of the bottom holders 90° or 180° and use a suitable wrench to fix the screws on the heater
backside. Now the heater is fixed on the wall. Don't use other screws than the delivered ones for longer
screws will damage the heating element!
Important: Although the infrared panel heater is equipped with a good thermal insulation there will
be higher temperatures also on the backside of the panel. If the heater is too close to the wall or ceiling,
there could be a heat accumulation on the back. The mounting distance must not be underrun. A
continual airflow behind the heater should be guaranteed.
6.
Congratulations! The heater is mounted completely and is ready for use now. The plug can be inserted.
