Adjustments can also be made within the process pa-
rameters (see section 7.3 FIGS. 67-68-69-70). Selecting
the XP it is possible to set a pulsed current at very high
frequency, to obtain a more concentrated arc. With this
type of pulse, the settings are fixed and defined (see Fig.
73).

7.3 PROCESS PARAMETERS (FIG. 43, 44)
From those listed below, select and confirm the chosen
parameter:
TIG Process
Start up mode (see paragraph 4.3)
Spot (vedi paragrafo 4.3)
Arc ignition type (see paragraph 5)
Pre-gas time (see PARAMETERS adjustment table)
Post-gas time (see PARAMETERS adjustment table)
Tig Gas Flow (active only with the gas transducer ac-
cessory item - code436)
First Level Current (see parameter adjustment table)
First Level time (see parameter adjustment table)
Initial slope time (see parameter adjustment tab)
Main Current (see parameter adjustment tab)
Final slope time (see parameter adjustment tab)
Crater Current (see parameter adjustment table)
Crater Current time (see parameter adjustment table)
APC regulation (only for TIG DC - see chapter 16)
Pulse (see chapter 6)
EVO START (only for TIG DC see chapter 5 and FIGS
71 and 72)
Hot Start AC (only for TIG AC see FIGS. 74 and 75).
This function is used to optimize the TIG AC ignitions
for each electrode diameter.
