Manual braking device according to
EN 15151-2:2012 Type 2
This product is a manual braking device
(belaying device) used in sport climbing for
belaying lead climber, belaying following
climbers/top rope belaying, as well as for
rapelling. This product must not be burdened
weightwise or otherwise utilized beyond its
specified limits. It must be employed exclusively
for that purpose for which it was designed.
Activities at heights, for which this
equipment was designed, are by their
very nature dangerous. Errors, recklessness
or inattentiveness can lead to life-threatening
injuries or even death.
You yourself are responsible for your activities
and decisions. The following instructions for
use must be read carefully and thoroughly,
comprehended and heeded. They contain
important information about certain dangers
and risks attached to this product. However,
it is not possible to outline and describe all
potential dangers and risks. These instructions
must be kept safe and easily accessible for the
entire lifespan of this product. Re-sellers must
provide these instructions to the buyer in the
appropriate language corresponding to that
country.
This equipment must be used only by persons
who have been instructed in their safe and
correct use and have knowledge appropriate to
this use and by people under direct supervision
and control of a comp. The right selection of
equipment requires experience. It lies within
your area of responsibility to have obtained the
corresponding education in the use and correct
techniques and learned safety precautions.
In case of mis-use or wrong application, the
manufacturer rejects and excludes any and all
liability. The user must be clearly aware that
in case of insufficient or unreliable physical or
mental capacity, safety impediments can arise
in both normal and emergency use.
