5.3.- SAVING OF PARAMETERS
Press the key during 3 seconds approxi-
mately in any of the menus, both normal or
extended, to save the data. The message
that will appear on the programmer display
will show that the data has been correctly
saved:

After a couple of seconds seeing this mes-
sage, the data is already saved and the con-
figuration start menu of the device will appe-
ar on the display, showing on the display
which processors are active and which not
and also the LNB power supply.

6.- REMOTELY CONTROL
This FI DVBS2 PROCESSOR version allows
you to configure and monitor from a PC,
both locally and remotely.
a.- To control locally
You need the "Headend Management" soft-
ware (v.2.1.2 or later) and a special cable
(provided with the software) that connects a
PC serial port to the "PRGM" connector.
With this software you can configure and
read about all the operating parameters, as
well as monitor the correct operation of the
device.

b.- Control remoto
You need a Headend Control module (ref.
5051 or 5052) that includes the software
previously mentioned and the corresponding
modem connected to the telephone line.
Once communication with the headend con-
trol has been established, all the controlable
devices installed within the headend can be
accessed. In this case it is essential that
every element is programmed with a diffe-
rent device address between 1 and 254.
