7.3. MOTOR DISMANTLING AND REMOVAL.
Important! Before unscrewing caset fixing screws, ensure the lavatory water level is
low (normal). Otherwise empty it, there is risk of pouring water in the concealed
installation if you do not do it and you loose caset fixing screws.
Before opening the waste disposer it is very important to check that the current cable
has been disconnected from its base. And lavatory level is the minimum possible
(standard height).
- Remove screws from the caset cover
out the exterior cover
remain loose in its casing. Remove the joint
with the head cable by pressing from the
edges, and releasing the cable end, discon-
nect the connections (faston) from the electri-
cal cable to the motor and pressure switch.
- Remove by hand the whole cassette set by
pulling carefully the motor upwards
Safety notice: Pay special attention to the
waste disposer blades, since they are
extremely sharp, and also to the motor, since
alter a period of use, might be hot, special care
to the macerator blades since they are sharp.
- Replace the cassete set with the spare one
and assemble it again following the steps in
reverse order (see electrical connections),
screw and place the cassette cover
- The whole process takes just 10 minutes.

* If power supply cable is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its technical
assistance service or a qualified technician to
prevent any danger.
