 Disconnect the connection cable
– before cleaning and maintenance.
– in the event of faults.
– if the power supply line of the coffee maker is damaged.
– if the appliance is not working properly.
 Do not stand the appliance on hot surfaces and avoid any prox-
imity to naked flame.
 Do not operate the appliance if it is visibly damaged.
 Store all unattached parts of the appliance before starting your
journey.
 Never fill up water into the appliance when it is hot. Turn the ap-
pliance off and leave it to cool down for approx. 10 mins.
 This appliance may only be repaired by qualified personnel. Im-
proper repairs can lead to considerable hazards.

2.2 Operating the appliance safely
 Electrical appliances are not toys.

Always keep and use the appliance out of the reach of children.
 Only operate the appliance when you or another person can at-
tend to it and never outdoors.
 Do not use the appliance to make coffee while driving.
 Only operate the appliance in vehicles when the engine is
switched off.
 Protect the appliance and the cable against heat and moisture.
 Never immerse the appliance in water.
 Do not operate the appliance when the lid is open.
