Setting off an alarm

When there is a detection, the monitor acts as follows:
- Generates an acoustic alert on the telephone handset (siren mode *).
- Activates the auxiliary device associated with the zone where the alarm
has gone off (if the device has been installed, please consult your installer).
- Sends an alarm mesage to the guard unit (if there is one in the installation).
- Sends a message or alert to one or several telephone numbers (land line
or mobile) programmed in the phone keypad (optional, included as stan-
dard in the Avisa Kit).
- Generates an alert to the Alarms Reception Centre (if the service is
available, please consult your installer).
NOTE:
For a sensor (detector) to be able to generate an alarm, the system must be armed.
To deactivate the acoustic alert, please consult the «DeactivateAcoustic Alert/Relay» section.
Deactivation of alarm indication in the telephone
To deactivate the acoustic alert use the phone keypad to enter the following codes (depending on the type
of deactivation desired):
ACTION
DEACTIVATE ACOUSTIC ALERT
Terminates the acoustic alert.
The system is not disarmed, and will keep
generating alarms if something is detected by the
sensors.
DEACTIVATE ACOUSTIC ALERT AND
DISARM SYSTEM
The system is disarmed, acoustic alert
terminated.
For the system to detect and set off alarms, it
must be armed again.
(*) The alarm sound always goes off at high volume, even though the call volume has been configured
as low.
NOTE: Signalling time is 4 minutes, where there will be alternating periods of sound and silence
(approximately 10 seconds signalling to 20 of silence).
In addition, every 3 seconds, the monitor emits a series of consecutive beeps, indicating the zone
that has caused the alarm. For example, three consecutive beeps indicates that the alarm zone
activated is zone 3. The beeps are related to the last alarm produced, which means that if several
alarms go off at once, the beep will be related to the last alarm that has gone off.
