Ring Tone Selection

The Detecta4 monitor lets you select different tunes for the calls received from the Outdoor Panel or Guard
Unit (where present), so that you easily tell where the call is from.
You can select from among 5 different ring tones stored in the monitor's internal memory.
ACTION
RING TONE SELECTION
When the ring tone selection code is entered, the three frontal LEDs blink rapidly, indicating that the
monitor is in «Ring Tone Selection» mode.
The monitor is timed to stay in this mode for 1 minute. During this time, you can select the tunes
corresponding to each call type, from Outdoor Panel or from Guard Unit.
(If the time runs out before you make the selection, enter the code again to access the ring tone selection
mode).
To select the ring tone for each call type, we use the telephone buttons:
- Lock release button: Press the button to select the call tone from the Outdoor Panel.
Every time the button is pressed, one of the tunes memorised in the monitor is heard.
The last tune heard is selected as the ring tone.
- Auto-on button: Press the button to select the call tone from the Outdoor Panel.

- Multifunction button: Exit «Ring Tone Selection» mode.

Note:
To be able to hear the ring tone, the phone handset must be hung up.
