The first oil change should occur within the first five
hours of engine use. To perform the oil change
proceed as follows:
1. Position the shredder on a level and flat surface.
2. Hot oil will drain better.
3. Collect used oil in a suitable container and wear
suitable safety glasses and gloves during oil change.
4. Open the oil drain plug (1) to drain the engine oil.
Remove the oil manhole (2) to make it easy for all
engine oil to escape.
Attention!
If motor is hot when changing oil, be
careful to remove oil container. Hot
oil is released with more pressure, and
may cause burns.
Do not dispose of discarded oil or
motor oil containers in regular waste
bins or on the ground, follow the oil
manufacturer's instructions for proper
disposal.

5. Gently pull the retractable start cord (5) until you
find some resistance, then pull it briskly. Repeat
this operation until the engine runs. Let the engine
warm up for a few minutes and return the choke
lever (3). Actuate the throttle lever (4) and start
working. To switch the engine off, simply release
the residual circuit breaker safety lever.
Notes:
Use regular unleaded gasoline. There
is no need to mix 2-stroke (2T) with
gasoline for this engine.
Note: See the engine manual for further information on
operation.
6. To stop the engine in an emergency situation,
release the safety lever (2) as shown in Figure 7-A.
To turn the engine off in a normal situation, close
the fuel valve 1 and let the engine switch off for
lack of gasoline in the carburetor, then release the
lever (2), Figure 7-A and turn the engine off at the
ON/OFF button.
5. When oil has been fully drained, screw back oil
container (1).
6. Remove the cap (2) and add the required amount
of oil and then close the cap (1).
7. Check the oil level with the manhole (2). For an
accurate reading, with the engine leveled, make
sure the oil has reached the beginning of the
thread that is screwed to the manhole cover, this is
the correct level.
