The portable RCD has not been reset:
- Press the "RESET" button (the pilot light changes colour
from black to red).
For safety reasons the RCD has intervened:
- Contact an authorised assistance centre and, should the
machine not be faulty, have the electrical power supply
system of the building checked by an electrician.
Electrical fault:
- Contact an authorised assistance centre.
THE MACHINE VIBRATES EXCESSIVELY OR HAS TROUBLE
CUTTING:
Dull or damaged blade:
- Replace the blade.
Incorrectly assembled blade:
- Remove the blade and reassemble it correctly following the
instructions.
THE WATER DOES NOT REACH THE BLADE:
Insufficient water level:
- Pour water into the tank up to the pre-set level.
Delivery pipe squashed or bent:
- Check the whole pipe and position it without bends.
Pump delivery regulator set to the minimum setting (where
fitted):
- Turn the regulator to "max" position.
Water and pump filter dirty:
- Completely replace the water and clean the filter in clean
water.
Pump fault:
- Contact an authorised assistance centre.
THE CUTTING HEAD DOES NOT SLIDE:
The locking screw is tightened:
- Unscrew the screw in order to unlock the cutting head.
Cable and/or pipe prevent movement:
- Lay out the cable and pipe in order to prevent obstructions.
Sliding bearings worn or to be adjusted:
- Contact an authorised assistance centre.
WARNING! If the machine still fails to function correctly
after you have carried out the above operations, or in the
event of anomalies other than those described above, turn
the machine off and take it to an authorised service centre
or have an authorised technician repair it with original spare
parts. Always provide the machine model and serial number
shown on the technical data label.
- Disconnect the machine from the power supply.
- Clean the machine and all its accessories thoroughly (see
"Maintenance" section).
- Keep the machine out of reach of children, in a stable safe
position, in a dry place not subject to extreme temperatures
and free of dust. Keep children and unauthorised personnel
out of the storage room.
- Protect the machine from direct light and if possible keep it
in the dark.
STORAGE
- Use the original packaging to protect the machine; do not
close it in a nylon sack as damp could be created which
could damage it.
In order to protect the environment, proceed according to the
local laws in force.
When the machine is no longer usable or reparable, dismantle
the various parts for differentiated refuse collection.
The plastic components bear an acronym identifying the
materials they are made of. This can be used when recycling
them in the future.
Deliver the machine and packaging to a recycling centre.
Amendments: The texts, figures and data correspond to the
standard in place on the date of printing of this manual. The
manufacturer reserves the right to update the documentation
if changes are made to the appliance, without being bound
by any obligations.
