Special safety notes
DANGER
Danger of fatal electric shock
Allow the sleeve or electrofusion tape to cool down before
conducting a secondary welding process
WARNING
Risk of injury from burns
Do not touch the line, electrofusion sleeve coupling or
electrofusion tape during the welding process or during the
cooling-down phase
Only connect the sleeve connection cable with the electrofusion
sleeve coupling / electrofusion tape after clean, dry Geberit PE /
Silent-db20 pipes or fittings have been inserted

Intended use

The ESG 40/200 electrofusion machine should only be used for welding:
• Geberit electrofusion sleeve couplings ø 40 - 160 mm or Geberit
electrofusion tape for anchor brackets ø 50 - 315 mm with Geberit PE pipes
and fittings
• Geberit electrofusion sleeve couplings or Geberit electrofusion tape for
anchor brackets ø 56 - 160 mm with Geberit Silent-db20 pipes and fittings
Any other use or a use extending beyond this is deemed to be improper.
Geberit will not accept liability for any resulting damage.
