Thank you for buying the VDSM03! This is a 2-channel passive hum eliminator. Hum noise is a common problem in
sound systems, even with the volume control set at minimum level. To prevent the hum caused by ground loop, the
VDSM03 is the lowest-cost tool that you can use. This unit also converts balanced signals into unbalanced signals.
Please read the manual thoroughly before bringing this device into service. If the device was damaged in transit, don't
install or use it and contact your dealer.
2. Description
• Studio/DJ mixer: using more than one mixer in a studio means you might face hum noise from your line level
gears. With the VDSM03 the sound will be clean.
• Live sound: unbalanced cables are frequently used in live situations. Hum noise might be caused by such
unbalanced cables, amplifiers or guitars. With the VDSM03 you can balance the signal.
• Computer sound card: most sound cards use unbalanced in and outputs. Using the VDSM03 can help you to
balance them and to prevent the ground loops by the computer's power supply.
