NOTE!
This vacuum cleaner has a built in thermal overload protector to protect the motor from high
temperatures. This can occur under heavy use. If the motor temperature shuts off during
operation, turn the switch off and allow the motor to cool for 5 minutes. Turn switch on and
resume operation.
10 - VACCUMING WET MATERIALS:
! WARNING-Read the Safety Warnings and Instructions concerning the types of wet materials
that cannot be vacuumed with this product.

DANGER:
This equipment incorporates parts such as switches, motors or the like that tend to produce
arcs or sparks that can cause an explosion.
Do not pick up flammable, combustible, or hot materials. Do not use around explosive liquids
or vapors, as electrical devices produce arcs or sparks which can cause a fire or explosion - do
not use at filling stations or anywhere gasoline is stored or dispensed.
15. A foam filter, Figure 1 (10) must be used when vacuuming wet material.
16. To replace the HEPA filter with a foam filter:
a. Turn switch off (0) and unplug power cord.
b. Detach hose from suction inlet or blower outlet.
c. Remove vacuum head by pulling gently on the lower part of the clamps on the
side of the vacuum head. Turn head upside down and place on top of the tank.
d. See Figure 8. Remove cover plate and fasteners (B,C D)
e. Remove HEPA filter (A) and store away.
f. Pull foam filter (E) over the filter basket.
g. Attach vacuum head to tank, ensuring they are securely clamped together.
h. Insert hose into suction inlet.
17. Attach squeegee insert to floor brush. See Figure 5. To change inserts, press the two snaps
on the ends of the floor brush.
