Manufacture
Cutting the inlay to size
Prerequisites
The material used has sufficient adhesive strength.
The specified dimensions and tolerances must be
strictly observed to ensure a correct button
function.

Cut the inlay to size in accordance with the
dimension drawing

Break off the edges (C) around the button window
on the visible area (B)
Check the button function.
Prerequisites
Inlay is cut to specifications.
Reworking the inlay will no longer be possible if the
protective foil is removed prematurely from the
adhesive tapes. The protective foil must be
removed from the adhesive tapes just before fitting
the inlay.

Place the inlay inside the frame of the actuator plate

Check the button function. The buttons should not
scrape on the inlay
Result
The button function test is completed when both
buttons are able to move freely, otherwise
reworking of the inlay will be necessary.

Fitting the inlay into the frame of the actuator
plate
Prerequisites
• Button function test successfully completed
• All adhesive-repellent residues such as silicone,
oil and grease have been removed from the inlay
• The inlay is dry and free from dust
• The inlay from natural stone is primed
• The minimum processing temperature is 10°C

Remove the protective foil from the adhesive
surfaces

Place the inlay into the frame of the actuator plate
Do not confuse the visible area (B) with the
adhesive area (D).

Press the inlay firmly and uniformly on the entire
area
Result
Remove the protective foil from the frame of the
actuator plate.
